I am a high school sophomore in Parsippany Christian School. I live in Parsippany New Jersey, USA. I am of Chinese decent (four-five generations removed) and am an immigrant from Canada. I decidedly enjoy thinking about things. Its a great way to pass the time, more constructive and lasting than sports and video games and from my thinking I have come up with the posts present on my Blog.
I am a fundamentalist protestant Christian that believes in the literacy of the Bible when it comes to things such as miracles and creation. I must warn all my readers that all the things I write will reflect upon what I believe and thus people must take these articles unbiased and compare them to what you believe, reflect on thoughts and decide for yourself what is right. If what I have written has convinced you right away that I’m right…. do more thinking because a belief cannot be entirely based on another’s convictions but most contain the thoughts of one’s self.
I am like any other teenager in most respects. I play video games, do homework, get through school, enjoy being with friends et cetera. However, I am still an eccentric individual. If you ask anyone who really knows to any degree they will tell you that I’m an odd, talented individual that is slightly anti-social. I will keep many of my thoughts to myself or at least bury them within my writings (consider it a censor).
The things I enjoy learning about most are: God (and thus the bible), world cultures (people today really know nothing outside of the US), history (people who don’t know history are bound to repeat it.. and even those that do repeat it anyway), science.
I truly enjoy helping others. It is a blessing to see smiles on faces one people are helped. People have come to me for help with everything ranging from relationships to homework, and though I may not be qualified to tell them what should be done (thus a disclaimer) I will always attempt to help to the best of my ability.
Now every person has personality problems. I am no exception. Over time I have gained pride, and my talents have caused me to become lazy. I am not really a good example of Christianity and I don’t really like being held as an example due to my problems.
If you have taken the time to read the above, you know a little about me, my faults, and why I write this blog.

hey Timothy,
nice to hear from you. Nice to see you doing inspiring work. I enjoyed reading what you wrote and agree with much, if not all, of your doctrinal thoughts on bible translations – though I did grwo up with the NIV and will probably die with it haven taken me through my life- but not without the Helper, the holy spirit, who makes it all understandable and is the real Teacher.
I’m proud of you and what you’re doing. It looks like this is something right up your alley. Alot more stimulating than trying to find North huh? How’s it going back home in Jersey? Have you and Dan found a good church group to go to? Hope so, having others who also love Christ in one’s life makes a big difference. Those younger, one who look up to us and who we help lead, those older, who have been there, know the way and can share what they’ve learnt, and those our age, who face the same bullets, go through the same fires and share the same joys. A good friend is forever.
“Everything is meaningless!!” ha ha – that’s one phrase I remember from you. I hope you remember the second part to that phrase.
Stay well Tim,
Ekkehart
